As the costs associated with just about everything continue to rise, launching a church planting ministry is no exception. Some have begun to explore a “new/old” idea of “bi-vocational” ministry, meaning the church planter is actually employed elsewhere and plants the church in addition to a full time or part time job that provides for his family’s basic needs, freeing up funds for ministry growth.
