2011 Multi-Site Church Planting Conference

When: From 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15 through 4:00 pm on

Wednesday, March 16.

Where: North Coast Presbyterian Church in Encinitas. Encinitas is a 25-mile drive from San Diego Airport.

Harbor Presbyterian Church in San Diego is hosting its 3rd Multisite Church Planting Conference this spring, March 15-16, 2011. The conference offers multiple tracks to benefit churches at various stages in the multisite church planting process.

The tracks include:

1) Considering A Multisite Church Planting Strategy: This track helps the leadership of a particular church to examine whether the multisite approach is best for your church in your particular context given your particular resources.

2) Launching A Multisite Church Plant: This track will help churches that have already decided to go multisite to determine next steps and offer some of the basic knowledge and skill set necessary for a successful multisite launch.

3) Managing Your Multisite Church: This track is for those churches already doing multisite ministry and offers practical training in the challenges uniquely associated with multisite church planting.

4) Multisite Movement Leader Track: This track is designed for those in pastoral leadership that are leading a multisite movement. Dick Kaufmann, Harbor's Senior Pastor and Movement Leader, has designed 4 breakout sessions to better equip men who have been called to lead a multisite church planting movement.

5) Multisite Church Planter's Spouses Track: This track is designed for the spouses of pastors involved in multisite ministry and focuses on vital considerations and skills needed to successfully navigate this type of ministry. Spouses are welcome to attend any of the tracks offered.

Because we have expanded our conference curriculum we have also expanded our conference faculty. We are bringing in multisite church planters from around North America that we believe will better equip those who attend this conference for multisite church planting.
