4. About the Ministry:

Here is a brief paragraph describing the ministry to be served.

Metanoia is entering a period of growth in the areas of prisoner correspondence, mentoring and reintegration ministry.  We educate, motivate, equip, train and mobilize the Church to disciple prisoners and care for their families.  We started one-on-one mentoring inside two facilities in Georgia (men) and Tennessee (women).  The State of Georgia has requested a plan to expand the ministry there.  Our long-term goal is to mobilize groups of churches to establish mentoring ministry in prisons in every state.

Metanoia is the Greek word for Repentance, signifying turning from a life of sin to a life that is lived for the glory of God. Additional ministry information about Metanoia Prison Ministries is available online.
