Here is a brief paragraph (120 words) describing the church or ministry to be served (size, demographics, year started, etc.).
Established in 1625 thirty miles north of Plymouth Rock and six miles south of city-center Boston, Quincy, MA is known as the “City of the Presidents.” It is the birthplace of John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John Hancock and the 1780 Massachusetts Constitution. Today, it is home to large Chinese, Vietnamese, Latino and Brazilian populations. Christ the King, Quincy, is a Brazilian church plant pastored by former MTW missionary, Rev. Tom Hudson. Portuguese is the congregation’s main language, but ESL classes and worship in English have recently begun. The goal is to form a multiethnic church reflecting Quincy’s rich diversity. CTK Quincy requests your prayers and support as they establish a Reformed work in one of America’s oldest cities.
