After a thirty-year career as a dental specialist, Gary felt called by the Lord to pursue a second career in the ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) and was ordained in the PCA. His experience in running a professional business, volunteering in the community, mentoring, serving in PCA churches as a lay leader, ruling elder, and teaching elder (Pastor of Seniors and Pastor of Missions), working with youth and seniors, and sitting on mission boards has equipped him to understand the needs of second career volunteers and the churches they will serve. He has a heart for coming alongside those who are passionate about spreading the gospel.

Gary is a Virginia native and currently lives in the Richmond area. He and his wife Marci were married in 1972 and have two grown children.
