Bio:
Cathy and her husband, Pastor Ken, are living out their dream of taking successful careers and making their “Second Half” significant! Cathy is a retired RN and received a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Due to a bicycle accident in 2006, Cathy is paralyzed with a T5/6 SCI. Cathy ministers to young mothers in their church and is developing a neighborhood friendship ministry with women.

Why are you passionate about disability ministry?
I have always been compassionate toward those in need.

What topics in the arena of special needs ministry are of most interest to you?
Physical disability, community outreach, ministering to the family

What is your heartfelt prayer for our churches, when it comes to special needs ministry?
That churches would realize that until people with disabilities are fully integrated into the life of the church, that church is not full.
