Parakaleo Offers Online Cohort: The Gospel and Cultural Intelligence

Have you ever wondered how to bring the gospel to our diverse communities, pursue the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17, and encourage multicultural relationships that enrich the Body of Christ? Parakaleo is offering an online cohort for pastor’s spouses and other women ministry leaders starting in March that explores this. A Gospel Lens Look at Developing Cultural Intelligence reviews Scripture and our historical context, and suggests practical applications.

Sandy Hartley, a regional advisor for Women’s Discipleship ministry, participated in an online pilot group. She said, “The material was excellent and discussions very informative.  It got me out of my comfort zone as we looked at issues of race and ethnicity…  It was also very helpful to view this from the perspective of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration.”

The class meets online for six weeks every other Tuesday evening. It is led by Maria Garriott, who has over 30 years of urban, cross-cultural experience. For more information, contact Maria@parakaleo.us.
