Job Title: Short-Term Mission Director
Job Description: In order to assist in hosting ST mission teams, GCCC is seeking a couple with gifts of hospitality and administration, coupled with a basic knowledge of construction. Tasks include evaluating work projects in the community to assess supplies needed, purchasing supplies, coordinating with volunteer staff to help guide the ST teams, assigning housing for the teams, and keeping track of expenses.
Paid or Volunteer: Volunteer (or can raise financial support)
Housing: Full camper hook-up is available, no cost. No cost on-site housing is also available. Meals are provided when short-term teams are on site.
Special Qualifications: Need to be available March through July, possess good communication skills, be organized and flexible, and able to work with a variety of personalities.
Hours per Week: Highly variable, no set hours. Intensive during short-term mission weeks. Light (20 hours/week) during preparation for hosting teams and after short-term mission weeks.
Worksite Location (in person, virtual, etc.): In person
Expected Length of Need: March through July
