How to Qualify to Pray for Your Neighbor and Nation

Thursday, October 22, 2:00-3:15 PM EDT

Panelist: John Smed, Founding Director, Prayer Current

Moderator: Paul Hahn, MNA Coordinator

John Smed will discuss how to grow as an intercessor- to be able to pray this prayer effectively and with integrity: “If my people who are called by name will humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways- then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land”

Not everyone qualifies to pray this prayer: NOT
• The one who does not discern and repent of his/her own sin
• Those who despise ungodly. (Think Jonah)
• The one who is indifferent to the eternal fate of the ungodly.
• Not those who conform to the world/serve the same idols as those they pray for

Then, who does qualify to pray this prayer, and how are they qualified?

The qualified are those who are transformed into passionate intercessors by a heart-rending, of they are learning to pray with kind hopes and sincere repentance, asking forgiveness for their own sin/ neighbor/nation.

Join us to learn what is necessary to become an effective intercessor.
