Facilitators

Charles McKnight

Charles McKnight has a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte and degrees in English and African American Diaspora Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Charles has 18 years of ministry and pastoral leadership experience. He co-founded West Charlotte Church (PCA) in the historic African American west Charlotte community. He is the PCA Mission to North America African American Ministries Coordinator and the Executive Director for Kindred Hope Church (PCA) in Atlanta, GA. He serves on the advisory board of Covenant Seminary, the PCA Unity Fund, the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Ministries LINK, and as an MNA Church Planting Assessment Center assessor. He is the editor of the book The Bible Explained: A College Student’s Guide to Understanding Their Faith. He is a former public school teacher and basketball coach and taught Cultural Apologetics at Gordon-Conwell Seminary.

Charles is married to Charlotte, and they have four children: McKenzie Grace, Corinne Justice, Kendall Joy, and Charles “CAM” IV.

Harrison Ford

Rev. Harrison Ford is the Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation at City Church of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. As a part of this role he maintains a keen pastoral interest in the way he and his flock are formed by digital technology, especially social media.

He has been deeply influenced in this space by the writing of L.M. Sacasas, Brad Littlejohn, and Marshall McLuhan. He is excited to consider together with the rest of the Summit attendees the promise and peril of social media for the life of the PCA.

Prior to serving in the local church, Harrison was a Campus Minister with Reformed University Fellowship and also did a two-year internship with Mission to the World in Romania. He is married to Brittany, with whom he has three young children.

Marissa Bondurant

Marissa and her husband Rob are long-time members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in San Antonio. She is a Bible teacher, writer, speaker and a caregiver advocate within the “Big C” church.

A few years into becoming a mom, Marissa also became a caregiver. Her daughters’ have received a variety of serious medical diagnoses which have impacted their physical and mental health. Out of that experience Marissa authored a Bible study for caregivers called Who Cares for You? and began a ministry called Gospel Hope for Caregivers. Her writing and speaking have been featured on many websites and podcasts such as The Gospel Coalition, enCourage, RisenMotherhood, Christian Parenting and Take Heart Special Moms.

On the weekends Marissa, Rob, and their four daughters can often be found hiking, camping and exploring the Texas Hill Country.

Stephen Spinnenweber

Stephen has served as the Senior Pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL since 2019. Stephen has a Masters of Divinity from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (GPTS) and is actively involved both in his local presbytery and in the broader denomination.

He is still trying to figure out how he ends up on so many committees…Stephen’s writing has been featured on Reformation 21, Place for Truth, Heidelblog, MereOrthodoxy, and Tabletalk Magazine. Presbyterian that he is, Stephen hosts several podcasts on the Westminster Standards (The Shorter Podcast and Larger for Life Podcast) and is a General Council member of the Gospel Reformation Network (GRN). Stephen is the author of Loving the Law: The Law of God in the Life of the Believer (Christian Focus Publications) and a forthcoming book on heavenly-mindedness with Christian Focus.

Stephen and his wife, Sarah, are high school sweethearts and have been married since 2013. They have their hands joyfully full with four covenant children and take full advantage of Florida’s sand and sun. When Stephen is not pastoring, writing, or shuttling the kids to and from ballet or baseball, he can be found reading the Puritans and fussing over his lawn.
