Osman is a former Muslim born in Somalia.

Due to a friendship with a young Christian friend, Osman met Jesus and came to know the Lord in August 2007.

This event marked a change in Osman so noticeable that his family disowned him for his newfound love for Jesus. During Osman’s time in college, he felt the calling to reach international students. He was a part of Cru; a ministry focused on reaching every college student with the Gospel. Osman soon became the face of international student outreach; he led events and studies with students from around the world. During his time with Cru, Osman led nine students to Christ. Organized events like a Thanksgiving Dinner, where 300 international students heard the Gospel for the first time. Using the unique insights the Lord has given him as a Muslim Background Believer, and more than 9 years of experience ministering among Muslims in the US and abroad, Osman is now available to train PCA churches and individual believers to understand Islam and to develop authentic, potentially redemptive relationships with Muslims in their communities.
