MS Tornado Response – Volunteers Needed to Build Sheds of Hope
The response work continues in the MS Delta to the devastating EF-4 tornado that blew through that area. MNA Disaster Response has been requested by the local PCA leadership to build Sheds of Hope for many in that area. To date over 20 sheds have been built and many more are requested.
WE NEED VOLUNTEER TEAMS TO BUILD SHEDS OF HOPE! It takes a team of 6 to assemble a shed. An experienced shed assembler is provided for each team. The Sheds of Hope are delivered onsite in a shrink-wrapped kit and simply needs to be assembled on site. It takes approximately two hours to assemble each shed.
VOLUNTEER TEAMS ARE LIMITED TO DAY ONLY! NO LODGING IS PROVIDED. So, if you are within driving distance of Silver City, Yazoo City, or Belzoni MS – WE NEED YOU!!
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER AND BE SCHEDULED BY MNA DISASTER RESPONSE. Please do not go without assignment!
