Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Ashley has undergraduate degrees in Christian education and business administration from Erskine College. She holds a master’s in theological studies from Reformed Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.   During her time in Jackson, she served for four years as Director of Women’s Ministry at First Presbyterian Church and also met her husband John. They now reside in Brandon, Mississippi with their three young sons, two of whom are on the autism spectrum.
