Over the weekend many storms and tornadoes ravaged many parts of the midwest, with early reports of at least 27 deaths. St Louis was a major target of the storms, with one tornado blowing through St Louis proper being measured as a level three and measuring about one mile wide. This has left a major path of destruction right through the metro. Additionally, Kentucky also endured significant damages from the deadly storms, with Laurel County being an area sustaining major damages.
MNA Disaster Response staff members are working with local PCA leadership to do assessments to determine the scope of damages to churches and homes of congregants as well as damages to their neighbors. At least one PCA church has sustained damages and reports are continuing to come in.
